We were impressed with the house, and level of privacy considering how close the house is to Center Street, restaurants, and next door neighbors. The back yard was a delight - fenced in for our dogs, and also had an outdoor shower and a gate with a shortcut to the ocean. The house was very well organized and clean, and the management company was very responsive. We’ll definitely rent here again!

We have rented from Folly Vacations several times and several different homes, and every time seem better that the last. The homes are so well laid out, well equipped, and perfectly suited for a great getaway. The kitchen in this one is fantastic, just can't say enough. It is also dog friendly with a fenced in yard and outside shower to clean your pet up after some fun on the beach. It's a little thing, but all their homes have cable, so you don't have to worry about streaming, which is not the case with most rentals. We highly recommend any of their properties!!

This home was perfect for our family’s beach getaway. It was cozy and comfortable, and the perfect location — walkable to the beach, restaurants, shops, and all things Folly. We hope to stay here again soon!

This is the third house of yours that we’ve rented and it is absolutely my favorite! The setup is perfect, and the big kitchen is so perfect for our big family. We had a couple of meals for eight and there was plenty of room. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything is so nicely laid out. As usual, your beds and linens are the best. And we love the fenced yards for our pups.

We loved this house. We’ve stayed in several of this group’s homes on Folly and they are always excellent. The house was very comfortable and the fenced back yard was great for our dogs. The location is convenient to restaurants, shops and the beach.

We were attending a family wedding in the French Quarter in Charleston and decided to make it a week+ family vacation. My wife and I, son, gf, and their 2 dogs. The house was perfect, more than enough room, in fact we had an empty bedroom, and dog friendly with a fenced in backyard. The house looks to be recently renovated (very well done BTW) and is well appointed. It’s a short walk (~5-10 minutes) to the beach, the pier, and all the local Folly Beach restaurants. It’s truly a pleasure to be able to walk rather than jumping in the car. It goes without saying that Folly Beach is a beach town, the numerous restaurants have excellent casual food, but for fine dining options, we headed to Charleston, which we did for several nights. It was a very easy drive which took roughly 15 minutes. It is the best of both worlds, beach living and the charm of Charleston! Overall, we had a great vacation and I would highly recommend the house!

Great place to stay. Pretty house and nice neighborhood

We had the most wonderful stay in Folly Beach, largely because of this amazing home. We all felt so comfortable here. My two young boys loved playing in the yard, and my pup was so excited to have a safe, fenced-in area to chase after her ball. My husband and I loved the front porch rockers to enjoy coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The home had everything you'd need, and the area is close to all you'd want to do. We stayed here during a weeklong spring break adventure to three different states, and our entire family agreed that this is the home we felt the most relaxed and happy at. I'd book a day longer than you think you need it for, because you won't want to leave!

209 West Hudson A was a beautiful home in the perfect location. The home is in terrific shape and beautifully decorated. And it was clean, clean, clean, which is important to our family. We rented a golf cart during our stay but the home is just a few blocks off Center Street, so walking was an option for everything that we did from dining/shopping on Center Street to going to the beach. When next we visit Folly Beach we will definitely be booking the 209 West Hudson A home.

The location of this house is perfect; a 5 minute walk to the beach and to everything in town. The property is just as described. Well appointed and clean. And the management was very responsive. Highly recommend

Quiet, well designed, and perfect location. We worked remote here for the week and had an amazing stay. The house is well equipped, clean, and had plenty of room for us to spread out. Wifi was strong and fast. Backyard was perfect for our dog and very peaceful to work from during the day. Plenty of shade and privacy, palms and other plants were a plus! A few minutes walk from the beach and anything you need in town, we had high expectations for Folly and it exceeded all of our expectations. Looking forward to returning!

Everything was just as listed and described. We just didn't realize how wonderful it would be! The fact that we could walk to numerous restaurants and shops, not to mention the beach was something we didn't realize we wanted until we had it!! It was so nice to be able to walk around everywhere we needed to go. The ocean was definitely a bit too cold for mom and dad (late April) but the kids didn't mind a bit and enjoyed the waves every evening after we finished exploring Charleston. Traffic will be the biggest issue as it gets into peak Vacation season...but that was what made our location so great! If we wanted to walk to the restaurants and the beach we could very easily....no need to drive!! We even enjoyed live music at the local restaurants a couple of the nights as well! Having an outdoor shower, and beach chairs to use was such a nice touch! Highly recommend this property....I don't think you will be disappointed!

We’ve been here two years in a row now, we just love it. It’s so up to date and so clean. The layout is perfect for our group (one family downstairs, one upstairs). Love the big open kitchen and love the fenced in backyard for kids. The location can’t be beat! So close to all restaurants and the beach.

We had a great stay at this seaside cottage. The kitchen and master bath are gorgeous! The fenced in yard with the outdoor patio was fantastic as was the large outdoor shower. The central AC is nice although we didn’t really need it during our stay. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The front porch had two rocking chairs which were perfect for watching the world go by. We were only minutes to the Town beach by foot, and we also enjoyed the beach at the end of the island at the county park. We loved the location which was only two blocks to the town center with all the delicious restaurants and souvenir shops. We also ventured to the lighthouse at the other end which was gorgeous as well with beautiful views and beaches. The beach stretches the length of the entire island and were incredibly wide open as the tides are very large making for some incredible scenery. We had perfect weather for March as it was dry and in the 70s most every day. The living room has a large wall hung TV for evening entertainment, and the bedrooms also have TVs for quiet relaxation. The house has a nice sized washer and dryer, dishwasher, double door quality fridge with ice maker, coffee maker, fast WiFi and several rain showers. The kitchen is well equipped. Overall a great vacation by the beach and we definitely hope to come back soon as Folly Beach now has a special place in our hearts.

Amazing location and place!

The property is in the perfect location to everything, restaurants, Center St, beach and Bert's Market. The house is a lot larger than it looks from the pictures and has plenty of room. My pups enjoyed the backyard and walks to the beach via greenway. The Sea and Sand festival was in full swing, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house is tastefully decorated and had all the essentials needed for our stay. The beds were super comfortable. I would stay here again anytime. I hated to leave.

Great location. Super efficient communication. Kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook for the 3 weeks we stayed here. ( moved to area and waiting on our closing). Loved the walk to the “Lost Dog”. Easy to get to the beach. I appreciate the owners alerting us to freezing weather and issues we needed to be aware of. Friendly neighbors too.

We had a wonderful 2 week stay and will definitely stay here again. The house is very comfortable, wonderful location and a great town to spend time in. The management company was great to work with and very prompt to answer any questions or concerns.

Our family absolutely enjoyed this house. We were here during the week of Thanksgiving with five adults, a six year old and two dogs. The fenced backyard and close proximity to the beach access made our stay perfect. The footprint of the house itself somehow provides a lot of privacy for individuals while also promoting togetherness. We loved how cute it was designed and decorated. The house was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The first morning, we found that the coffee maker wasn't functioning properly and a new one was delivered promptly! Would definitely recommend this house to others.

Ryan’s home is absolutely perfect and as pictured. The kitchen is amazing, the bed was extremely comfortable, water pressure is outstanding and is a very short walk to the beach. Would definitely rent this place again and highly recommend. You will not be disappointed choosing this for your Charleston visit. The host was extremely responsive, and this home could easily accommodate six adults. The fenced yard and outdoor patio were awesome, and our dog was safe and happy as well! Hope to be back!

Our family (dogs included) had a great time in Folly Beach. We visited in November for a wedding, so the actual beach wasn't our focus, but the house is just a few blocks back from the ocean and there's a great pathway nearby for easy walking access. It's centrally located a few blocks off of Center St and is quiet and relaxing while still being very walkable to all of the shops and restaurants. The house was the perfect fit for our family of six, and was very clean, comfortable, and cheerfully decorated. The kitchen is well-stocked and the extra refrigerator and wine cooler for drinks was a plus, and the fenced backyard was great for our dogs. We'd love to visit again in the summer months for a true beach trip!

What an awesome house! We loved the big kitchen and spent time on both porches (although I preferred the front porch with the rocking chairs!). The house is such a good location - perfectly positioned between the restaurants/bars and the beach (with a super convenient walkway out the back. plus the closest beach entrance has a bathroom too) and very walkable to everything you need. We absolutely loved our stay here and are already planning a trip back!

House - very clean, great lay out with lots of space, back yard shower was perfect for rinsing off ourselves and our dog before going into house. Location - could not have been better. Close enough to town to be walkable but just far enough to still have the quiet street feel. Beach also walkable along a nice path.

We booked 4 nights at the last minute when other travel plans fell through. After arriving, we wished we had booked for longer. The house was perfect. Everything was clean. The kitchen was our favorite spot with the huge island. My husband and I took turns working remote and had no issues with internet connection. The master suite was beautiful. Beds were comfortable and fans in every room. The backyard was great for our little dog to run free. We especially loved the outdoor shower. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you!

This house was perfect for us! We brought our 2 dogs with us, main reason for the trip was to let our 13 year old chocolate lab enjoy the beach again. The greenway walk to the beach was very easy and having the fenced in yard worked perfectly. The house is exactly as pictured.

This beautiful house was a great place for our July 4th vacation with our 2 sons and their families. Plenty of sleeping space, cute back yard, SHORT walk to the beach- that greenway out the backyard fence is priceless. We couldn’t believe how close the beach was, looking at Google maps just doesn’t give you the truth of the picturesque short walk. So close to center street we ate out more than we have in past stays at houses further away. We rented a golf cart but after 1 day realized we didn’t need it! That kitchen — amazing! We were all dreaming of how we could incorporate some features into our own homes. Our dogs had a great time and we are so thankful for pet friendly houses with fenced in backyards for safety. So many little thoughtful details including some basic necessities!! Like the beach chairs. Plan to stay again.

Great Folly Beach location; about two blocks from the beach and two block from the main drag with shops and restaurants. House was exactly as shown in the pictures. Comfortable beds. Great shower in the master bedroom. Rain shower head was awesome. My son loved the outdoor shower and claimed that as his own. Kitchen had everything you’d need including a big pot for crab legs and a wine fridge. Comfy couch for TV downtime. Décor was fun and not the typical beach theme. Easy drive into downtown Charleston which takes about 15 minutes. Recommend the Pleasing Tours ghost walk and Charleston Outdoor Adventures dolphin excursion. Both great for families. Overall this property is a great place to stay while visiting Folly Beach and the Charleston area.

This place was perfect for my bachelorette party! Cute décor, huge kitchen with 2 refrigerators and a wine fridge, walking distance (maybe 5 minutes) to the beach and cute shops and restaurants… seriously perfect! Couldn’t recommend this house enough.

Beautiful beach cottage right in the perfect location!

We had an excellent stay! The house was very clean and spacious. The shower in the backyard is an excellent amenity after a Long Beach day! Master bed is super comfy! The kitchen is gorgeous and a sweet place to gather for breakfast or evening drinks! This is a very short walk (about 2 blocks) from the restaurants on the Main Street of Folly so save your time on parking and walk to the seafood joint if you can. Mind the parking rules! Even if you are in the driveway, you’ll get a ticket for parking against the direction of traffic.

After visiting the Charleston area for over 20 years, this was first stay at this home, but hopefully, not our last. The location is exceptionally convenient, private and quiet. Both fantastic restaurants and the beach are easily accessible from here. The home itself, besides being impeccably clean, offers a layout space that makes cooking and gathering together easy. The outdoor space has a nice deck, and the outdoor shower was so handy after visits to the beach.

Perfect vacation spot. Everything we could have needed was provided and more. We loved the outdoor waterfall shower, plenty of sleeping space, and updated amenities. I came with a group of friends, but am also a mom of young children and this home would be perfect for that too! They provide a pack’n’play and high chair too! Excellent stay!

The house was very clean and the layout was perfect for us (king room downstairs for my parents, while we took the upstairs rooms for us and the two boys - one queen and one king). My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are planning out a trip when the weather is a little warmer so we can enjoy the beach. It is the perfect size and offers a great little oasis just a few steps from the beach. The outdoor shower is the prized possession [for those who know/appreciate them].

We enjoyed our stay over the Christmas holidays. Our group include 2 grandparents, 2 adults, and an infant under 2. When we entered the home, the fans were going, the TV's (Xfinity cable) were on, and the house smelled clean and fresh, putting us at ease. There's lots of natural light in that gorgeous kitchen, and we appreciated the wine fridge. There is a second refrigerator in the house, and that came in handy for all our goodies. Everyone got a good night's sleep in the comfortable beds; however, some of the pillows are not very firm, and if that's important to you, you might want to bring your own. There were big fans in the bright bathrooms that added to the circulation of fresh air, and we never had an issue with hot water. We used the "state park" style charcoal grill for oysters, and the yard was cute and secure enough for our pup. The owner/management company did a fantastic job of capturing the unique and relaxed vibe that is Folly Beach. The location is ideal for the island; a five-minute walk to Center Street for amazing food, and a short walk to the beach via a pleasant greenway. We were pleased to find the cottage next door (a 2BR/1BA) is available to rent alongside this home. That's perfect for our growing family, so we will be back!

This is as the best rental we have ever been in. Beds are super comfy. The decor is so well done. The kitchen is beautiful and they have an outdoor shower. You can walk to the downtown and to the beach. I specifically looked for a rental that was not too close to the cell/5G Tower next to water tower because I am sensitive to that and this location is so nice and on a dead end street. We had a wedding in Charleston and it is only a 20 min drive into town. It was 4 of us, it you could easily fit more.

Beautiful space with personal yard space that our dogs loved! 2 blocks from the beach itself, and equipped with beach chairs and cart. Incredibly clean. Comfy king beds. We accidentally left our laptop there, and the management company was kind enough to call and to arrange for its return.

We loved staying at 209 W Hudson A...perfect location for a short walk to the beach. The greenway out back keeps you from walking on the road the majority of the way to the beach (which is great for pets and children). Center Street was just a couple of blocks away which allowed for convenient "to go" pick ups for dinner from the restaurants. The fenced in backyard was shady and comfortable and the outside shower is a life-saver. The house was clean, well-maintained, and well-stocked...our family would definitely stay here again!

We loved this rental. We visited (2 adult couples, 1 dog and 1 toddler) for a long weekend. The property managers always responded quickly and offered a pack and play for our son. The house was well-stocked with cookware and towels and the beach chairs were a big plus. The decor was super trendy and cute and the beds were comfy. It was easy to get to the beach through the trail that comes to the back yard. The front porch was a nice shaded place to relax and the outdoor shower was a great add as well. There are 2 fridges which was nice. The only small detail (it's so tiny, I feel silly even mentioning) would be to add a floor or table lamp to the living room. Even dimmed, the ceiling lights provided somewhat harsh lighting and not the best atmosphere, but otherwise everything was perfect!

Quiet Street, great location within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. We felt safe and very comfortable in this well appointed home!

We enjoyed our stay in Folly Beach and appreciated the pet friendly rental with modern finishes and good furniture. The beds were super comfortable; great mattresses and linens. The AC/Heat worked well. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms. The location was convenient to shopping, restaurants and the oceanfront. We walked to all those locations, just a few blocks away. The TVs in the living room and master bedroom were good sizes, worked well, HBO and the internet was no problem.

Great space for my bachelorette trip (7 girls total). The entire house was super clean, amenities were updated and the kitchen was fully stocked. Very safe neighborhood with walking access to town. 20 minute Uber to downtown Charleston... Checking in and out was extremely easy! House was spacious with nice finishes and comfortable beds. The house was stylish and perfectly decorated. It was a short walk to both the beach and restaurants. We will definitely come back since they are pet friendly too!

This home is beautifully renovated and decorated with a retro style. It is located in an ideal area close to the Main Street and the beach. The fenced backyard area is a great place to relax. I highly recommend this rental.

We had a fantastic stay at 209 W. Hudson. This home was perfect for our family. It was beautifully remodeled, well stocked and the location was fantastic. We loved the ability to walk to bars/restaurants and shops, as well as the beach!

Charming beach cottage. There was plenty of room for us and our dog as well as friends. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch. The beautiful kitchen was well stocked and functional. The location was great -- a short walk to the beach as well as to Center Street with a variety of restaurants and shops. Decided to add a beach getaway to our first family Labor Day week vacation. So glad we chose this beautiful Folly Beach home. It was the perfect size for 6 adults and a 4 year old. Plenty of space and spectacularly finished. Probably the cleanest rental home we’ve stayed in, which was much appreciated. The spacious kitchen was well stocked and the second refrigerator was a huge plus! The bathrooms had plenty of towels, another plus. The decor made us feel welcome and the eclectic artwork seemed personal and was so fun to view. The outdoor shower was super nice and helped keep sand entering the home to a bare minimum. The walk to the beach, pier, bars, shops, and restaurants wasn’t far at all. Everyone wants to visit again next year!

My friends & I had a great time here. The beach is a bit of a walk, but they have a cart to use which is helpful. We walked to all the fun bars and restaurants. It was a great place. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This was an amazing vacation for our family we loved how clean and beautiful the home was and how close it was to downtown and the beach!

We booked this house for my 30th birthday and it was absolutely perfect! The outside of the house makes it look small, but the inside is SO spacious that it comfortably fit all of us. The kitchen was perfect for "family style" cooking, and the outdoor shower was great for afternoons after the beach. There was plenty of parking in the driveway and on the street around the house, and we were walking distance to everything. I couldn't have asked for a better vacation! We will certainly rent this house again :)

6 girlfriends and I rented this gorgeous property last weekend and are all raving about it. This is my 3rd time renting a house on Folly and this is by far my favorite rental. I usually do not write reviews but felt it was necessary given how amazing the entire experience was. The place was immaculate upon arrival, central air kept it nice and cool throughout our stay, relaxing and charming backyard (we especially loved the outdoor shower), the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, pretty and well kept and the kitchen was updated and absolutely gorgeous! The location was perfect; conveniently located about a block from Folly town center and a couple blocks from the beach; we couldn’t have lucked out more. Thank you for having us; we enjoyed every minute of our stay and will definitely be in touch again soon!

Very charming property really close to the beach.

We loved staying here - It was our 10 month old's first beach vacation and everything was perfect (the high chair on hand was extremely helpful). Everything was as advertised, the house is pristine. We got good use out of the beach chairs and beach cart as well. Would love the chance to stay again! Five Stars

The house was fantastic. The pictures and the description here are right on. House was clean, well equipped, and the perfect size, The owner and the rental company were quick to respond to every question or issue (very minor and not worth mentioning here). The location of the house cannot be much better; just two blocks from the fun of Center St and the beach yet private and quiet. Perfect neighborhood to take walks, with your furry friends or not, by just stepping out the front door. Enjoyed the ability to sit on the front porch and the back deck depending on our wishes, the shade, or the weather. We had expected the back deck and yard to be in full sun but were pleasantly surprised to find there's more than enough shade available with the umbrella and trees. We spent a lot of our down time just chilling out back. While it was ZERO issue for us, the house is in an area where your neighbors are close, not unlike most beach towns. We will definitely come back!

This house had all the amenities that anyone could need. Air conditioning and fans both in several rooms. More TVs than we needed and the kitchen is fabulous. It was close to the beach with easy access as well as to downtown folly. I would highly recommend if you have your dog and it is all fenced in and easy to let your pet out through the sliding doors. I would stay again next tine !

We had a wonderful relaxing week at W. Hudson. It was very easy access to the beach at W. 3rd with restrooms, picnic tables and a drink machine. The home was lovely and stylish. We thoroughly enjoyed playing cards at the table and lounging out on the back deck. With the fenced in yard, our dog Lily was able to run around and play. We were within walking distance to the Lost Dog Cafe and Woody's pizza. The only problem was that we wished we had booked a longer trip!

We really loved our stay here. It was very clean, modern, and homey. We loved the backyard and outdoor areas. It was also close to all the restaurants and bars. Just a short walk to the beach. Loved it!

All of our needs were met. The home appears very new, nicely kept and an appealing art diversity as wall hangings. The weather did not cooperate, but the home sure did.

We had the best time staying in this house! It was fabulous to have our fur babies with us and we made the most of great weather by taking them out for long walks on the beach. This house has everything you could possibly need. I loved that it's new, beautifully renovated and has a fully stocked kitchen. The fenced in backyard meant we didn't have to worry about our dogs escaping. There's plenty of room and the location is top notch. We had some specific requirements- fenced yard for the dog, main floor king bedroom, cable tv -and this house met them all. It is newly renovated, with an amazing gourmet kitchen including a wine refrigerator. It was fully stocked with new kitchen appliances, cookware, dishes and silver, even salt and pepper. We were escaping winter further north, so pleasant temperature was our reward. For beach lovers, the house is an easy walk to the beach. For those looking for a variety of food, Center St is a block and a half away. The owners were very responsive when we had minor issues with the tv and the lock on the patio door - on the weekend and after hours. Folly Beach is a place of its own, with remnants of the hippie culture of the 60’s, definitely worth a visit or a stay. The house has great, colorful art in every room. Many Spoleto posters, and some fascinating art by someone who signed as “Dutch” with intriguing themes. The art just added to the uniqueness of the house.
